Ethar Alali has been around the lean / agile product development scene for a long time, while many of you will know Mark Ballance as a Lean Startup Yorkshire regular and a beacon of success with his business Schedule It.

CxO of Axelisys, Consultant, Agile-EA and founder of several start-ups, Ethar Alali comes from a long, diverse systems engineering background. He has an obsession with applying mathematics, statistics, lean thinking and entrepreneurship to his work with companies of any size, shape and sector. Ethar established Axelisys in 2011 to help companies improve, adopting Lean Startup as his de fact way of working two years ago.
Mark Ballance: Schedule It product demo and the birth of a business.
Schedule It is a resource scheduling product designed to help business plan the work, tasks and appointments for their employees, clients, and other critical resources. Mark, the founder of Schedule It, will be doing a live demo of their resource scheduling software. There will also be a small presentation showing how he turned a part time hobby with a basic MVP, into a professional company supplying to some of the worlds largest companies around the globe. Mark will share some of the ups and downs of the exciting journey.

Mark Ballance started Schedule It back in 2004 along with a number of other website services. Not until he quit his full time job and committed everything to Schedule It did he realise how hard it would be but also how rewarding and successful it would become. Schedule It Ltd now helps companies all over the world save time and money by providing a number of desktop and online scheduling tools.
